James Glowacki, Loss Prevention and Security, HEB
James Glowacki works for H-E-B, one of the largest regional food retailers in the United States. He provided security assessments, physical security leadership, investigations, loss prevention practices, and new project setup for the San Antonio and San Marcos warehouses. James and his wife of 19 years have two teenage children living at home and two dogs. James serves as Secretary for the Board of Directors for InfraGard, an FBI Program. James is on the ASIS Board as Chairperson of the Retail group for Chapter 092 in San Antonio. James volunteers his time by helping young children through Junior Achievement and several other community events with H-E-B.
Steven Smith, FBI - San Antonio
Steven F. Smith has a diverse background in both technology and business. He received a bachelors degree in chemical engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1994, after which he worked as an environmental engineer in the state of Oklahoma. After returning to full time studies, he earned an MBA from Texas A&M University in 2001 with an emphasis in finance and information technology.
Before joining the FBI, and throughout his professional career, Mr. Smith has worked in computer applications including programming, database administration, network management, and business analysis. As a Special Agent, he has investigated cases in counterterrorism and cybercrime, with an emphasis on computer computer intrusions. Most recently, Mr. Smith was promoted to InfraGard Coordinator for San Antonio & Austin, to serve on San Antonio 's Human Intelligence Squad.
