The Alamo AFCEA Technology Symposium (AATS) will be held November 2-4 in conjunction with the city-wide event Celebrate America’s Military (CAM). The event will include an opening reception on Monday, November 2, as well as educational sessions and an exposition on Tues-Wed, November 3-4 at the Norris Conference Center in San Antonio. The conference will offer informative, thought-provoking presentations on collaboration, information technology and cutting-edge concepts; all set against a grand, citywide celebration.

To help ensure our first annual conference is a winner, we've selected as our subject:  Knowledge Management (KM), with peripheral topics addressed such as Content Management and Information Operations. Today's latest collaboration tool sets will be showcased, as well as provide an opportunity for those new to contracting to attend a Service Contracts Act basics presentation. Several top executives from the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, Intelligence, Disaster Response and Law Enforcement communities will be our guest speakers. A sampling of our speakers includes:

  • Mayor Julian Castro, San Antonio, Texas
  • Senator John Cornyn, United States Senate, Texas (Invited)
  • Major General Erwin F. Lessel, III, Director of Plans, Programs, Requirements and Assessments, and Director of the San Antonio Joint Program Office, Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base
  • Major General Anthony F. Przybyslawski, Vice Commander, Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base
  • Brigadier General David B. Warner, Director, Communications and Information, and Chief Information Officer, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base

Original technical presentations by government and industry practitioners will also be provided. Click here to view the proposed agenda. You will see exhibits from technology pioneers who support their government and commercial customers through innovative products and services.
