atsec is looking for a senior individual with a technical background to join our team of security analysts and consultants as full-time employee in sunny Austin, Texas. We are a diverse, international group of over forty security professionals and are seeking to augment our team with technology experts that will take leading roles in performing standards-based and customized security assessments, evaluations, and testing of software products for our clients.

This position provides opportunities to:

·         Apply your expert knowledge about software architectures to scrutinize the security design and implementation of a variety of leading software vendors’ products

·         Look at software  security from a holistic view, including threat modeling, specifications, implementation, testing, and vulnerability assessment

·         Work with a variety of information security standards and some of the best analytic minds in the industry

This position requires:

·         Ability to work methodically and without being micro-managed

·         Eagerness to dig into technical questions

·         Basic or advanced understanding of general information security concepts and principles, system architectures and development, etc.

·         General programming and software analytical skills

·         Enthusiasm, good customer interface skills, positive attitude, strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), and effective teamwork and technical collaboration skills

·         Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, with some emphasis on security

·         Flexibility to travel

·         Authorization to work legally in the U.S. for any employer without company sponsorship
