MAJOR GENERAL TIMOTHY T. LUNDERMAN
Maj. Gen. Timothy T. Lunderman serves as the Air National Guard Assistant to the Commander, 24th Air Force and Air Forces Cyber, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Twenty-fourth Air Force personnel build, extend, operate and defend the Air Force portion of the Department of Defense global network. The general provides assistance to the commander on behalf of the Air National Guard with cyberspace capabilities facilitating combatant commanders with trained and ready cyber forces which plan and conduct cyberspace operations. Twenty-fourth Air Force comprises the 67th and 688th Cyberspace Wings, as well as the 624th Operations Center.
Maj. Gen. Lunderman earned his commission from Rochester Institute of Technology, Reserve Officer Training Corp in 1989. After serving in the United States Air Force as an F-15C Instructor/Evaluator, Maj. Gen. Lunderman joined the New York ANG in 1999 where he has commanded frontline F-16C combat units. He has been integrally engaged with the National Guard Bureau, Department of Defense Joint Staff, United States Cyber Command, Headquarters Air Force, Air Force Space Command, the National Reconnaissance Operations Center and Interagency leadership.
Maj. Gen. Lunderman has commanded over 2,200 flight hours in the T-37, A/T-38, F-15C and F-16 aircraft. He has flown combat missions in support of operations Northern Watch, Southern Watch, Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Read More...
