Brigadier General Bradley L. Pyburn
Brig. Gen. Bradley L. Pyburn is the
Deputy Commander, Sixteenth Air Force (Air Forces Cyber), Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. He is responsible for the operations of more than 44,000 personnel conducting worldwide operations. Sixteenth Air Force Airmen deliver multisource intelligence,
surveillance and reconnaissance products, applications, capabilities and resources. The Sixteenth Air Force includes the 9th Reconnaissance Wing, 55th Wing, 67th Cyberspace Wing, 70th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing, 319th RW, 363rd
ISRW, 480th ISRW, 688th CW, Air Force Technical Applications Center and all Air Force cryptologic operations.
Prior to assuming his current position, Brig. Gen. Pyburn served as the Director, Cyberspace Operations and Warfighter Communications, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Cyber Effects Operations,
Headquarters Air Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. As Director, Brig. Gen. Pyburn was responsible for integrating cyberspace warfare capabilities into the joint fight through strategic vision, policy, guidance and resource advocacy.
Brig. Gen. Pyburn received his commission as a distinguished graduate of Officer Training School in 1995. A career cyberspace warfare officer, his commands include the 67th Cyberspace Wing, the 624th Operations Center, and the 332nd Expeditionary
Communications Squadron in Iraq. Brig. Gen. Pyburn has also held diverse operational and staff positions, including Air Staff, Air Combat Command and Joint Task Force-Global Network Operations. read more...
