About the Course:
Oracle Cloud - Modernizing the Mission
Air Force programs have struggled to move large complex mission programs to the cloud due to performance and security issues with legacy cloud providers. Oracle’s next-generation cloud ensures higher performance, reliability, and more operational efficiency. With security built-in from the ground up, Oracle Cloud runs the most demanding workloads at mission speed, while costing less.

Designed for System Administrators, System Engineers, IT Managers, Infrastructure Managers and Chief Architects, this workshop will provide an overview of Oracle Cloud with guided demonstrations and provide hands-on experience. Attendees will go through modules that demonstrate how easy it is to provision and use compute, storage, networking, database cloud services and more.

Prerequisites: In order to participate in the workshop, an email address must be provided during registration and the address MUST NOT include a ".mil" suffix.

Darryl McGowan is a distinguished Solutions Architect within the Oracle National Security Group. For more than 23 years, he has served as a trusted advisor to systems integrators, while also providing problem resolution, technology training, software demonstrations, and program engineering support.

Sean Barrett is a System Engineer with three decades of Computer Science and Information Technology experience supporting the Intelligence Community. He has a diverse background from computer programming to project management to system architect.
