Colonel Allan Abel Carreiro is the Senior Materiel Leader (SML) of the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division which falls under the Program Executive Officer (PEO), Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Materiel Command. He leads a team of 1,204 military, civil service, and contract support personnel, acquiring and providing depot support for $3 billion in worldwide assets, with an acquisition and sustainment budget of $4.5 billion (FYDP) for the Department of Defense and national space systems. As the SML, Colonel Carreiro directs cryptologic and information assurance products’ lifecycle management of national and international communications security and signal intelligence systems with operations located at Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland TX.

Colonel Carreiro enlisted in the Air Force in 1986 and earned his Commission in 1996 as a graduate of Officer Training School. His career has spanned a variety of acquisition positions including assignments in space and cyberspace systems acquisition, Air Staff, the Defense Contract Management Agency, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the U.S. Congress. Colonel Carreiro deployed to Kosovo in 2001 for Operation JOINT GUARDIAN, to Afghanistan in 2006 for Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, to Iraq in 2011 for Operation NEW DAWN and NATO Training Mission-Iraq, and in 2011 he was the Theater Head of Contracts for Operation UNIFIED PROTECTOR air operations over Libya. read more...


Col Bobby KingCol Robert F. King 

Colonel Robert Franklin King, “Bobby,” is the Senior Materiel Leader for the Enterprise IT and Cyber Infrastructure Division, Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. The 800+ person Division is the program management office for the $6B AF Intranet, Information Transport System, Deployable Communications, and commoditized infrastructure programs. The Division delivers AF-wide network management and network defense solutions and fields the wired, wireless, and hosting infrastructure for over 300 AF and ANG installations worldwide.

Colonel King was commissioned in 1995 as a graduate of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at University of Arkansas. He’s held a variety of assignments in aircraft maintenance/munitions, information technology and space systems acquisitions, space systems programming, and satellite operations. This includes service as a Squadron Operations Officer, Materiel Leader for IT Infrastructure, and Space Operations Support Squadron Commander within the National Reconnaissance Office. He has also served in the Pentagon three times; first as an Air Force Intern, then as a Space Superiority Programmer and Executive Officer to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Programs (HAF/A8), and finally as Chief of the Information Technology, Cyber, and Business Systems Division, Information Dominance Programs, Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition. He deployed to Qatar in 2008 and served in the Combined Air and Space Operations Center on the Director of Space Forces (DIRSPACEFOR) staff where he was responsible for integrating space capabilities into combat operations. Col Jim TrachierCol James M. Trachier 

Colonel James M. Trachier is the commander of the 38th Cyberspace Engineering Installation Group at Tinker Air Force, Oklahoma.

Colonel Trachier enlisted in the Air Force in 1991 and was selected for the Airman Education and Commissioning Program in 1994. After completing his undergraduate degree, he reported to Officer Training School and received his commission in 1997. He is a career Communications/Cyberspace Operations officer and graduated squadron commander who has also served at the agency, Joint Task Force, and Combatant Command headquarters level, as well as with the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
