The Alamo Chapter of AFCEA held our 2018 Alamo ACE at the La Cantera Resort & Spa in beautiful San Antonio, Texas, November 5 - 8, 2018. Our theme for this year’s Alamo ACE was “The Next Frontier – Transforming Enterprise Ops to Multi-Domain Ops.” We hope we provided you access and insight to the senior leader’s perspective on current developments in cyberspace and future challenges in transforming to multi-domain operations strategically, and military cyber and ISR operations battlespace in the future.
The Alamo ACE is an annual event with a national draw supporting the military community. We had a record 2500 attendees at the 2018 AACE this year. The event opened with a golf tournament on Monday, November 5th supporting our Wounded Warrior and Military Families Endowment Fund with over 240 golfers. The ACE program will consisted of two full days of expert panels and esteemed keynote speakers and panels, followed by a full-day of acquisition updates from DHA and AF Cyber and a half-day of classified discussions.
AFCEA is a non-profit organization which directly supports the military and community through ethical dialogue, professional development, and educational opportunities. The Alamo Chapter has made local and national impacts by providing numerous scholarships and awards to students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
