Military Education Grant
The Alamo Chapter’s Military Education Grant Program is offering grants to help offset the cost of books and fees not covered by the military tuition assistance program. The chapter will award up to $2500 in scholarships to qualified applicants, not to exceed $500 per applicant per academic year.
These grants will be awarded to active-duty enlisted and junior officers (O1-O3), living in Texas and pursuing a degree in a scientific field of study. These fields include, but are not limited to: engineering, computer science, information systems, chemistry, physics, and math.
Each application will be judged on its own merits. Primary consideration will be given to academic excellence. The applicant should provide as much information as possible to assist the scholarship committee in making its selections. Each application must include a copy of the applicant’s transcript, proof of enrollment in the applicable course, evidence of a passing grade in the applicable course, and copies of the book/lab fee receipts. Please submit materials to Mallory Solis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Applications may be submitted on an ongoing basis.
