The Alamo AFCEA chapter is committed to championing the ongoing professional development of our members. We’re building a collaborative environment for Emerging Leaders to explore and discover their potential, and encouraging them to seek out challenging experiences, training and education.

Giving you an insider’s look at the work being done at top organizations like USAA, Rackspace, the Southwest Research Institute and Dell.

The Emerging Leaders program needs you! We are currently looking for individuals who want to help grow the program and participate in running and management of the chapter. Visit our volunteer sign-up page today!

Volunteer opportunities are also present within the International Association. Visit afcea.org to find out how you can impact the Intelligence and Technology fields through membership and participation in various AFCEA International Committees.

Fellow Emerging Leaders, including the current and past Vice President of Emerging Leaders, meet at the Tech on Tap social at Bowl and Barrel; This program allows Emerging Leaders to network with fellow cyber, intelligence, & IT professionals, while hearing from industry trends from a local technology company

Emerging Leaders Awards

The Emerging Leaders program has several opportunities for awards and recognition. Awards are given at the chapter and international levels and are a great way to recognize your peers or emerging leaders within your organization.

Nominees for Emerging Leaders awards must be Alamo AFCEA members who are 40 or younger.

Submissions for awards are on a rolling basis and go throughout the year. For more information, see our awards page!
